Nadège, our chef's inspirations

The Château de Siran’s restaurant is pleased to offer you a generous, authentic, and tasty cuisine, so you can discover the flavours of Southern France. We love to work with fresh and seasonal ingrediants, and all of our preparations are homemade with love. We make our own pastry, pâte feuilletée, crème brûlée, etc. Our menus vary reguarly throughout the year, in order to offer you an exciting and unique palette of tastes.

The Lounge bar

Enjoy a drink in our bar, decorated with a beautiful fresco. 

The lounge bar welcomes you for an afternoon tea, an aperitif, or one of our cockatils, until 11pm. 

The large fresco on the wall, painted by Stephanie van de Walle, represents Siran's history and its lords since 1210 and the Cathar wars.

Our restaurant is open every evening except on Sunday.

Half board (Breakfast and dinner starter, main course and dessert chosen by the chef each day) from 3 nights and for the whole of the stay except Sunday (closing day of the restaurant) : 50 €

Look at our summer menus

Our wine list focuses on Minervois wines and spirits. Its great diversity of terroirs and grapes allow winemakers to raise wines in a special way:

  • Some tannic, others silky and very elegant.
  • Some on fresh or candied fruit, some floral and other with a nice minerality.
  • All are sun-kissed and generous.

These wines are from Siran, La Livinière, Azille, Cesseras, Minerve, Feline and Saint Jean de Minervois.
Our wine list also offers spirits produced in a young distillery in Saint Jean de Minervois and in an other very old one in Carcassonne.
For champagne, we have chosen Crémant de Limoux.
You can also taste our Margaux Château Siran.

We have obtained the Vignobles & Découvertes label for Pays Minervois, Saint-Chinian, Faugères.
This label guarantees a quality oenotourist offer.

We know that breakfast is often described as the most important meal of a day, and we strive to make it an unforgettable experience for our clients.

Whether you are seated inside close to the fire, during the winter, or on our beautiful terrace during the summer, Soumia will be happy to serve you hot drinks: An Americano, Nespresso, teas from Palais des thés, Valhona chocolate, etc.

Our breakfast buffet will offer you a large choice - enjoy our:

  • Croissants, pain au chocolat, raisin bread, donuts, pancakes, choquettes, various sliced bread, brioche, gluten-free bread on requiest, etc. All of our pastry is freshly cooked in the morning. 
  • Apple juice, from the village of Tourouzelle, fresh orange juice
  • Yoghurts from the Combebelle goat farm
  • Cheese and raw Sérano ham
  • Free-range eggs
  • Cereal, dried fruit, fresh fruit, compote
  • Local artisan jams, honey, butter from Charentes
